Holiday 2019
We feel so honored knowing that it isn't even Thanksgiving yet and our shows at Cave of the Mounds are already sold out!!! Holy moly. If you are one of those folks that was still totally OK not thinking about the holidays for at least another week and really wanted to hear us out there, there may still be tickets available provided that you're OK with standing and/or leaning on rocks while listening to us. If standing and/or leaning on rocks while listening to beautiful music isn't quite your thing, then mark your calendar for our 3rd annual "Holiday in Revue" concert at Crescendo Espresso Bar and Music Cafe happening on Thursday December 12th 2019. 7p show. DECEMBER 2017
It's been an eventful fall for all of us! Some of the highlights have been a group trip to Door County back in September, learning new holiday tunes, singing for Santa's Live Reindeer just after Thanksgiving, our annual Caroling in the Cave concert on December 2nd, and perhaps the biggest highlight of all has been the milestone of greenTONE turning 10! While a lot has evolved in the 10 years since we learned our very first Christmas carol, the overall attitude of the group is quite the same and possibly stronger than it has ever been; not only do we continue to work hard at bringing the acappella musical artform to life, growing our musical capabilities and inspiring others to start/keep on/never stop singing, this all happens as our friendships continue to grow and thrive in new ways with each passing year! We often giggle about what gT will look like when we are all past the age of 50/60/70...grateful is just the beginning of how many of us would describe how we feel about being a part of this group. Awwww...
So instead of getting all sappy (I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying...right?), we will do what we do best...SING. Greetings! Happy New Year to all! 2017 is going to be a banner year; we celebrate 10 years (and counting!) this fall of gT's exsistence and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate by doing what we do best - singing for people, of course! The "Calendar" page has been updated to reflect all of our upcoming performances to date and we are looking forward to adding more to the current line up!
We are pleased to share that our annual Caroling in the Cave event this past December was our most successful yet, pulling together a total donation to DAIS that was just shy of $850! Not only were our concert attendees extremely gracious and generous, but our shows were so packed that we may have to consider adding a third show at future Caroling events at Cave of the Mounds. If you attended either of these December concerts , your suggested donation for attending the concert helped to support DAIS, along with any additional donation you may have chosen to make! Please know we are forever grateful for your generosity and hope to see you at future events!
BIG NEWS FOR 2016!
We are beyond excited to share that we are part of a new aca-adventure that has been growing its roots for some time and finally launched FOR REAL on January 25th! After nearly a decade of growing under the CASA umbrella, the Contemporary A Cappella League (CAL) program has expanded to form a brand new organization to serve the a cappella community. CAL begins this new chapter with a full complement of services to support and promote the growing community of adult a cappella groups. Led by a board of CAL leadership from across North America, the mission of the new CAL is to spread harmony through harmony by helping people form, join and maintain a cappella singing groups as well as to provide performing opportunities, education, motivation and accolades, all while helping grow the adult a cappella community across the globe. Originally founded by Deke Sharon in 2007, the goal of CAL is help everyone sing for their entire lives. With nearly 50 charter groups - of which gT is one! - the organization is now ready to reach out to everyone who has a desire to sing through the use of targeted resources, performance opportunities and an unprecedented support network to help you make it happen!

DECEMBER 2015 UPDATES...how on earth is it December already?!?!
This first week of December is always one of our favorites every year because it leads us right into one of our most favorite annual events at Cave of the Mounds - CAROLING IN THE CAVE! We sing TWO shows at the Cave this coming Saturday December 5th - one at 5p and one at 630p, with each lasting about an hour long. New this year - we have an opening act! Brand-spanking-new a cappella group Chromatix are going to share a couple tunes before we take the stage (er...rocks). Show them lots of love- this is their very FIRST performance!
Tickets for these shows ALWAYS move quickly! What that means is that if a show is listed as "sold out," you can still attend, but you'll be standing toward the back of the seating area. Not the end of the world, but now you know!

This Friday December 4th, we have the honor of sharing our holiday music with Olbrich Gardens' members for a Preview Party that allows members a sneak peak of their Holiday ExpressFlower and Model Train Show! We are BIG FANS of Olbrich Gardens and look forward to Friday as well! So if you're reading this AND you're a member at Olbrich Gardens, please join us Friday evening, too!
Finally, work on our upcoming album is still in full swing and we are beyond excited to share it with you! It will be done soon, for sure!

AUGUST 10th, 2015 - We are VERY PLEASED to share that we've been asked to sing the National Anthem for YOUR Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on Tuesday September 1st! Mark your calendars, buy your tickets and come enjoy some baseball after you cheer us on as we get the game started!
In other news, recording we SO SO WELL with Cut Off Studios. We'll have plenty of reasons to sing all of our holiday and Christmas tunes, as it will definitely feel a lot like opening gifts on Christmas Day when we finally hear the finished project!
MAY 31st, 2015 - We are VERY pleased to announce that we are getting ready to lay down some new tracks this summer! We are partnering with CAL colleagues Cut Off Studios of Rochester, New York this time around. They'll be here to work with us later in July; until then, we are working very hard to come up with the remaining funds we need to completely finish the project...you know, put a real CD in your hands or make it downloadable...you know what I mean. ANYWAY, we've decided to try our hand at crowdfunding and are hopeful for a small amount of support so that we can finish our project as soon as possible! So, please have a look at our GoFundMe page and consider making a small donation. There will be prizes based on the amount you donate! Please know, too, that your donation to our project helps to further the notion that not only WE should keep singing, but that others should start/keep on/never stop singing, too! Since Christmas, though, we've added a new performance "notch" of experience to our belts...as a performer for the increasingly-popular FLASHMOB! It was so much fun to do this the first time that the stars collided and we were asked to do it again, for a completely different occasion! The first one was back in January at the recently-opened Hampton Inn in downtown Madison to kick off their "New Places New Faces" event. The second one was more recent - in April we kicked off CUNA Mutual's annual March of Dimes fundraiserby surprising their employees with a few songs...you might have even seen us on the local news!
